"We were looking for a weekend away and this cabin definitely provided that! Amazing views, all the amenities needed for a weekend in. Wonderful getaway that allows you to forget the world while remaining close enough to things that you can experience the surrounding areas. Apart from a few cars in the drives down the mountain, we were able to forget about others and relax for a wonderful weekend. "

"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "

Contemporary New Log Cabin with plenty of parking

"We had a great experience. The cabin is very clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a week-long stay with two adults and two young kids. The cabin is between Asheville and Weaverville — a good location, not walkable to much but a short drive to many, many things. (NB: The map on the VRBOlisting showed the wrong location for us; the cabin as actually father north a few miles then what it showed to us. But that was fine for us) "

"This is a beautiful property. The home was super clean, cozy, and had plenty of room for our family of 9 and our dog as well! The kitchen is large and had everything we needed to cook meals and more. There were plenty of cups, silverware, and plates and the dining table held 9 people easily. Both a coffee pot and Keurig were available. Gas fireplace kept things nice and warm. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. There were extra towels and wash cloths in every room. "We had an amazing time at the cabin! The owners answered any questions we had before booking, before the stay, and during the stay very quickly. The cabin was extremely clean when we arrived and it felt like home. The cabin is awesome and the views were beautiful...the pictures don't do it justice! "The location and scenery here was fabulous! About 30 minutes from our Biltmore trip and Ashville shopping trip! Just a few minutes away from the Black Mountian shops, which we liked better than the Ashville ones. The Cabin was absolutely Beautiful and could not have been anymore perfect! The logs in the cabin come from a cabin built in the mid 1800's.

"The cabin is so cute. The location is great, felt super close to everything but far enough from the city that it felt like an escape. Frank was such a lovely host- he greeted us and was available for any questions or requests and was just all around great. We got to feed the animals as well which was so much fun. We had a beautiful stay and would highly recommend!"
