"This hotel is a great refresh of an old hotel. So it’s old but refine very well. Rooms are serene, mood lighting is perfect, good outlets. Bed and pillows are Devine! Partial ocean view was a great room category. Staff was the best!"

"Bed and breakfast home was beautifully furnished. Room was comfortable; private bathroom updated and very clean. Host very friendly and accommodated us with early breakfast. No parking fee, but driveway very steep so not for faint of heart. "

Beautiful vacation

"We truly enjoyed all of the amenities and serenity your house offers. Among our favorites were the pool, lanai and barbecue. We only ate out once, for lunch! After a trip to Honolulu to see the Pearl Harbor memorial, and a delayed flight to Kona we were ready to put our feet up and just chill by the pool. Which is exactly what we did😀. We haven’t slept so good in a long time. Maybe it was the sun, or the super comfortable bed, or the wine 😉"

Perfect Big Island Getaway

"We stayed for two weeks, as I was taking part in the Ironman race this October. The property was very clean and well-stocked with the essentials. The kitchen was great with everything needed to make meals as neccessary. I had seen some reviews that the oven was difficult to use, but this wasn't a problem for us, the oven seemed very new and hi-tech (who needs their oven to have Wifi?). The garage was also well-stocked with pool / beach toys which were really great for the two young children we had with us. The only problem we had was that the dishwasher didn't seem to work, but when I emailed the vendor thay sent a handyman the same day to fix it. All in we had a wonderful stay. The location is great in a beautiful, quiet place with easy access to Kailua. "

"This place is a gem. It’s not too far from Kona Airport. We stayed in the Japanese tea room which is a very unique stay. It’s a very comfortable spacious room that has a very comfortable queen bed, nice t.v. With Amazon Prime, YouTube and other options for viewing entertainment, a BIG bathtub and a separate shower in the beautiful bathroom. The awesome part of this place though is Dave and his wife Miriam! They let you use basically all the amenities their property has to offer from the nice kitchen which has pretty much all ya need to cook your own meals (you’ll need to clean up after yourself), a jacuzzi, and in their common area Dave always has coffee ready in the morning you just hit the brew button and multiple teas are available as well. Miriam every morning sets out some baked good and fresh tea in the morning as well to get ya going. If you stay at this property you will go away feeling like you lived in Hawaii for your stay and not visiting like you feel in a normal hotel room. Very Wonderful Experience! Thank you Dave and Miriam. "

A dream place

"The house is truly stunning with a breathtaking view from the lanai, and is equipped with everything you need for a stay. Given the altitude the air is much cooler than at sea level. The owner Radu is very kind and helpful, and also gave us valuable tips for visiting the island. I absolutely recommend a stay here."

50th Anniversary

"This was the perfect house for our family to trip to Hawaii for my parent’s 50th Anniversary! The house is beautiful and provided lots of room for all four couples to enjoy each other’s company and reconnect, as well as being separated enough to provide for privacy. The pool was wonderful and the view is to die for! "
