"It's late March 2025 and we have just returned from 8 nights on Banana Island (a couple aged 55 and 62), and enjoyed it immensely. We knew beforehand that it was during the month of Ramadan so not all facilities would be open - some of the restaurant options on the island were closed and most you needed to eat inside. On mainland the shops in the malls were all closed during the days but you could wander through them. This had the advantages of it being a bit quieter and we got 2 nights...

"The staff are very friendly and respectful. The breakfast is just fine. My son loves the swimming pool. The beach is good but many sea weeds. But if u go far the sea water is clean and good for healing. U can rent jet skii nearby. And if u like to ride camel and horses is just near to rent and enjoy the ride. "
