Three night stop over and a great location for walking to the MIA and National Museums, the Cornish’s and the MIA Park. 10 mins walk to the nearest metro and one stop to the Souq. Rooms were nice and spacious- I had a suite - breakfast was good but busy around peak time - I had to sit in smoking. Did not try the other restaurants. Staff very helpful. Wil stay here again.

The staff is amazing: kind, warm, helpful. Food is also excellent, from the breakfast to all the dinners and snacks I tried. I also liked the location: a quick ride to the airport, lots of ubers and taxis nearby, and you can easily walk to the metro station near the National Museum (which is just around the corner), souq waqif, Museum of Islamic Art, etc. I have stayed in many types of hotels around Doha during previous visits, Just spent 10 days at the DoubleTree for work and highly recommend this hotel!

Almost everything is great. Especially the staff is extraordinary friendly. The restaurant is especially at the breakfast too cold. They run the air condition at high level to avoid bad odors. The concept does not work out. We had still bad odors in the restaurant and it was always definetly too cold. Finally, the beach is approximately 20 minutes away by car from the hotel and the shuttle service was overbooked on some days.

We arrived early and had to pay an additional amount to secure an upgraded room immediately. Windows from outside on 11th floor were dirty distracting the sea view. In the spa, steam room was not working and no hot water in the spa facilities. This was reported to the staff but was the same on a subsequent visit

We enjoyed our stay at Double tree by Hilton Doha old town. We stayed for nine night and all the staff made us felt welcome and they were very helpful. Ismail and the other staffs at breakfast and dinner was great and greeted us every morning and evening with a smile. Their service was exceptional. Concierge and front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. Room service staff made up our room everyday for us. We are giving this property 10/10.

Staff was very attentive to our needs during breakfast if we wanted to order fresh crepes, french toast, pancakes or tea. Lots of options at breakfast and a 4 course meal for lunch/dinner, which was delicious. The rooms were very clean and when requested, we managed to get a family room.
