"Beautiful hotel and area. The only thing was the isolation-not walkable to open restaurants in less than 25 minutes. Shuttle runs every hour. Taxi back after 745 pm when the shuttle ends for the night. The buses also work once you get the routine Beautiful views of Mt Fuji. The lake views also pretty Dinner was nice/pricey. "Beautiful hotel with a magnificent view of Mt Fuji. It is a grand yellow hotel nestled in the hillside so the hotel itself is quite picturesque. We booked a room with a private indoor onsen with a spectacular view of the Mt Fuji from the room including from the onsen. The water was hot and relaxing and the hotel has free bath salts of several fragrances to add to the water. The breakfast is quite good with a large variety of food. Dinner also has a lot of variety and quantity. It is not directly in Kawaguchiko and is about a 15 minute drive away from the station with a free hotel shuttle to and from the station. Definitely worth it for the view."
