"Hotel is in need of modernisation very old and tatty furniture, hair in bath plug from previous guest, no soap, shower gel in bathroom you have to pay if you want it and at £134 a night i expect at least soap to wash your hands. Just a shame as it’s a perfect location but the hotel needs some renovations. "

"My wife and I stayed at the Elms for a one night stay as a birthday treat. The hotel is a beautiful building set in pretty park grounds. There was ample parking. Check-in staff were brilliant! Very friendly and professional. The gentleman helped us carry our luggage to the top floor which could be a bit of a hike for less mobile people or someone who struggles with stairs. The Spa area is very quirky and has everything you need to relax for a few hours. The outdoor jacuzzi is a nice...
