"Hotel is in need of modernisation very old and tatty furniture, hair in bath plug from previous guest, no soap, shower gel in bathroom you have to pay if you want it and at £134 a night i expect at least soap to wash your hands. Just a shame as it’s a perfect location but the hotel needs some renovations. "

At very short notice and without a booking we were found a table and dining for 5 people in the very busy restaurant so allowing us to have an evening meal and get to a show at the local theatre. Top marks. Having been prompted to reserve a table for breakfast on Sunday morning we turned up at our reservation time only to be told that there were no tables available.
