"Paul and Elaine were very lovely hosts and we had a lovely time it was so relaxing and just whah me and my friends needed as it was a break away for my birthday ☺️ will deffo be back one day! It’s a lovely place to stay with the fire inside and the amazing hot tub outside which was super nice!! 😊 "

"Very relaxed stay in a cute accommodation - perfect for a couple nights away. Checking in and out was very good. Only improvements would be that the hair dryer was missing, and the animals kept me awake all night. Other than that, the stay was amazing and would definitely come again."

"Nicely furnished apartment with comfortable sofas and beds, and a good array of kitchenware. Easy walking distance to cathedral and city centre along riverside path or beside the canal. Quiet at night. 42 steps up to the front door - fine for us but may not be for others. Only problem for me during a hot week was the window-doors, which I could not open in the main living room as they are so stiff. On the days when my husband was staying, even he (who is much stronger than me) had trouble...

"Initial booking process passed between Expedia, Vrbo and another party like an abused rented mule and then another party wanted to hover up my passport details with selfie for good measure for extra fees as part of the so called check in process. The booking property details stated contacting the host for additional fees ( see above ) after parting with the non refundable cost of the booking. "Wanted to break our journey from Devon to West Yorkshire, the studio was just the job. Good value, great parking. Good fish and chips from Lickey Fish Bar and our little dog really loved Beacon Hill just along the road which has amazing views and is popular with many friendly dog-walkers."
