"We enjoyed our stay in Coopmanhuijs. The location was perfect right in middle of shops and restaurants. The room was on the small side but very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Besides a good buffet spread, they also served an a la carte warm main. All the choices were excellent. Restaurant in the hotel was also very good. We had dinner one night and enjoyed it very much. "We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! "

"While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...
