"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . "Property was spacious, comfortable, right around some historic areas. Very convenient to food and a couple of the local museums. Quick and easy to get to the waterfront via Uber. Staff, especially Michele were amazing, gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Amazing place overall"

"The couch, carpet and chair in the lounge were filthy. The place also smelled like it was standing closed for months. We kept the door open constantly for fresh air. The bathrooms can also do with extractor fans. Coffee machine missing, as well as docking station, but there was a used (dirty) espresso cup on the counter when we arrived. Some towels had holes from old age. Only 2 teaspoons in the drawer, and when you needed a normal glass, you had to get one from the bed- or bathroom. The bar is...

"The “family” room we had was 2 bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom. They were small but perfect for what we needed. The location near the V&A waterfront was perfect. Breakfast was included in our stay and was excellent. "

Great overnight and half day here.

"We stayed overnight and paid for the next day until 6pm. Very comfortable, convenient location, great shuttle service. We enjoyed the hotel facilities. Absolutely incredible breakfast buffet! Pancakes, eggs to order, espresso machine, pastries, etc. Nice bar area. I used the spa for a facial. Only had one problem. The air con was set for 26C and we were uncomfortably hot. We were offered another room but it also had the same problem. The staff were really invested in making us happy and furnished two small fans - which really helped."

"Amazing and very helpful staff at concierge and at breakfast. The breakfast buffet was substantial, plus a bonus ordered meal with your included breakfast option. Friendly and safe hotel, with a great bar, pool and gym area as well. Easy to walk to the V&A Waterfront and close to most tourist destinations. Would highly recommend. "
