"This is a very beautiful spot. The rooms are very comfortable and it's a wonderful place to relax. But we were given very old, threadbare towels. They were immediately replaced when we pointed this out, but they should never have been used in the first place. The breakfast is also adequate rather than anything really appetising. And the service at breakfast was less than friendly."

The grounds are spectacular, the room well equipped, immaculately clean and the staff all amazing. The breakfast is fabulous, with freshly made omelettes, fruit, cereals, toast and meats and cheeses. "We booked Roseroc for one night at the last minute based on reviews and we were NOT disappointed. Kevin, our genial host is a mine of information. He suggested a great restaurant you could walk to although we drove and other interesting things to do.The breakfast was fantastic. We recommend the "Roseroc" poached egg. I will try to recreate this at home. We would not hesitate to recommend Roseroc. I'm not sure quite how my wife found this little gem nestled away but she must be amazing too."

"Very nice, but the night before we were to arrive we were told the swimming pool was not functioning. Bearing in mind the one day was in the mid thirties, this was disappointing. Our room had an artisan working all day, on both sides of us. One night I had to ask him to stop hammering on our walls at 8 o' clock at night. The hotel staff and very nice and considerate. management need to up their game."

"This was a quaint and outstanding place to stay. We were in the oak three bedroom cottage and comfortable and nice. The location on the property was perfect and the staff was outstanding. We were particularly impressed with the service provided by Mercy. She was very customer oriented and helped us with dinner and transportation. This What is the best level of service provided Any place I ever stayed in my 45 years of travel. I would not hesitate to stay here again "
