"I and two golfing friends used the hotel as a overnight for our annual trip. The hotel was very well appointed, staff excellent, food in the restaurant very good, and our rooms were completely adequate for what we wanted. We didn't use the Spa! Very pleased."

"We stayed at Achill Guest House for one night before starting a canal boat trip from Alvechurch Marina. We appreciated that it is a family-run guest house with a funky charm one doesn’t find in a chain hotel, even if the walls are a little thin and we could hear our neighbors a little bit. Bed on the soft side but still slept well. Good location very close to a charming high street with Tudor era buildings, a pretty parish church and dining and breakfasting options (the bakery is fabulous). Very friendly and helpful owner. "

"Ive stayed here a few times and i cant fault it.Ratchel on reception is great and so is her Male colleague.Nothing is to much trouble and they are very welcoming and friendly. It is reasonably priced,rooms are big with a comfy bed,tea and coffee in the room. Decent bathroom with a in bath shower all very clean.Although they dont open for food in the evening you can order a takeaway and eat it in the breakfast room with cutlery and plates provided."
