"The room was comfortable and the bathroom nice. The hallway was a bit noisy in the morning as the cleaning staff went about their business - not really able to sleep in. breakfast was really good. Front desk staff nice. Staff in the spa was not helpful or friendly - in my opinion, a phone call should not take priority over three couples standing in line. But generally, a very good place to stay."

"This was the only hotel we have ever stayed in that charged extra for the swimming pool 15 euro per person is a bit extreme. Get rid of the two comforters on the beds. Go with one large one. Much more comfortable "

"Hotel Fontanella was wonderful. The views from the hotel are far superior than those in town, which was very nice. The room was nice overall, brought up to date in recent years to feel more modern. The only downside of the hotel was the lack of explanation of the amenities when we checked in, which made us look like idiots when we kept asking about certain things."

"One of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed, pretty modern. We arrived hours after the normal check in time of around 2-3pm. We rode the taxi from the train station coming from Venice, about 7 minutes, spent about $10. The man/receptionist during the night shift welcomed us, and answered our questions. He walked us to our room, separate building from the main, and explained how to get back in. We arrived hungry and he recommended a pizza place not too far, walkable. The only negatives are 1. The...
