"My wife and I and our son and his partner stayed three nights at Airth Castle. Some of the reviews we had read beforehand made us nervous. We believe the hotel is currently upgrading their bedrooms and during our stay we did see some upgraded rooms which looked really good. Both our rooms had not been upgraded so were a tad disappointing. Having said that the rest of the hotel lived up to expectations and were clean and modern and very comfortable. "Hi son stayed for 3 weeks, first week room not cleaned 2nd week maids went in and cleared all his stuff out even though he was booked in for another 2 weeks. Would not use again."

"Gorgeous grounds and surrounding area. Really peaceful and well placed for scenery. Good on sight playing for children and lovely even if you don’t leave the grounds. The apartments are super spacious and love the indoor sauna and hot tub. A little cold and old fashioned but adds charm. Absolutely love coming here with my family for a little break from the city. Hoping to get a chance to visit in the summer because otherwise it’s consistently foggy and damp being right opposite the loch. This, however, is charming and atmospheric if you like that kind of thing. "
