"Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious the only negative point was the shower was very slippery and the tiled floor in the bathroom was slippery when wet. Otherwise a very lovely place to stay."

"My wife and I and our son and his partner stayed three nights at Airth Castle. Some of the reviews we had read beforehand made us nervous. We believe the hotel is currently upgrading their bedrooms and during our stay we did see some upgraded rooms which looked really good. Both our rooms had not been upgraded so were a tad disappointing. Having said that the rest of the hotel lived up to expectations and were clean and modern and very comfortable. "Overnight stay en route home. Room was well presented, clean and tidy. Three spoilers, 1 stairs and landings looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. 2 Fire alarm (false alarm) went off at 00.20 and other guest said this was a regular occurrence. 3 No hot water in bathroom no matter how long I let the tap run. Food and service were excellent."
