"Our room smelled of cigarette smoke, the wash basin was cracked, the furniture was chipped, and the decor very tired the several areas of the property needed decorating and maintenance especially the ceiling in the lounge which was very stained with a water leakage. The breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful."

"Our room was at the side building, spacious room but on ground floor so couldn't leave windows open therefore absolutely boiling at all times. Fantastic pool and sport facilities. And absolutely amazing staff "

"Arrival staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parts of the hotel itself looked a little tired but this didn’t put us off. Our room did have a funny smell but we didn’t want to complain, it was still clean. The bed was little bouncy however I am aware this is a personal preference matter. The spa was lovely. Had a nice evening in there and following morning. Overall this is a lovely place to come for a short trip to wind down. "

"A large historic mansion in beautiful gardens with leisure facilities. Mainly older guests some in coach parties. Large restaurant and bar. Buffet breakfast with all the English breakfast ingredients but limited cold buffet options. "

"The hotel was amazing, I stayed there purely because of the convenience of going to the internation centre for comic con. Its really close to the shops and train station too. The amazing benefit i found was that the bed was extremely comfy."

"A modern and comfortable hotel with a lovely breakfast included in the price. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Telford and is set in lovely grounds. I haven’t rated it 5*s as the check in was slow due to there only being on member of staff on at reception, the pool being cold and us not getting bottles of water in our room for the first night but getting them for the second. "
