"The overall stay was fine and pleasant. The property and room was clean, though a little patchwork was visible on the walls. The spa and massage was very nice. The staff was friendly but had some weird policies like not giving water except on the first day of stay, so had to buy water, which is normally expected from a hotel to be provided. "Berjaya’s prime location on Beau Vallon's main beach and its spacious facility are definite advantages, complemented by friendly staff. It’s one of the most strategic stays in Mahé island. However, cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms and the shared "refreshing room," lacks proper sanitation between guests. The kitchen's poor ventilation causes unpleasant odours to permeate the guest rooms corridors. The hotel needs to improve the vents and insulation. "

"Wonderful place and wonderful staff. The hotel is well kept and seems still new. The room was large and the patio and well were lovely being both private and with great views. The staff were lovely especially Cindy and Lucianna who made the restaurant perfect and spoilt our 6 year old. Only negative was a few small mosaic tiles missing around the pool."
