"It was nice but tv not working and shower water it was terrible i couldn’t wash my hair and my self properly and no mini fridge especially with this hot weather it will be nice to have small fridge to put drinks for the kids "

"The staff is absolutely exceptional. Very kind, polite, helpful and the nicest people. The location is pretty good too - about a 15-20min walk to old Funchal. The walk back could be longer due to the uphill but nothing too crazy. Parking can be tricky but I never had an issue parking at the lot that was designated for the buildings but not for the hotel. The hotel could really use an upgrade on their rooms however. Possibly a fan as it can get quite hot. The walls are very thin and you can hear...

"Great location, bc it close to everything. There's a trail from the hotel that leads down into the town. Clean room, balcony isn't that big but I didn't spend much time in my room. So it wasn't a deal breaker. I took a star away bc there are no irons in the room. Staff told me there is a room to iron your clothes on the 3rd floor. That's an inconvenience and kind of weird for me. The food was good and fresh, and there was an assortment to choose from. Overall I'd go back again."

"Check in process was a bit challenging as no one is at the property and it’s all done virtually. Location is right in the centre which can be a bonus but also at night it is very loud . "

"All aspects of this hotel were fantastic from the friendly and accommodating staff in the restaurant, bar area , front desk and spa services. The hotel rooftop was excellent and enjoyed the special event of bubbles and sushi. The location was very convenient for walking to many attractions. Nice to have on site parking and the breakfast buffet that was exceptional. We enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend to others."

"The overall theme of the hotel was good. The welcome drink was a really nice touch. Good value for money especially considering the location. Bar staff were not very attentive. Areas for improvement could include air-conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms."
