"All well but heavy cigarette smoke and smell in the room from chimney neighbors. Looks like many Europeans are all chain smoker's! Staff apologized but the law is not in their favor - nor in favor of nonsmoking guests. At time we had to run the AC at full strength and keep the slider open. Other that - beautiful place, great service and great people! "

"Hotel was in a good neighborhood that had shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel is connected to the neighboring restaurant, where breakfast was provided which had limited options of only hard toasted bread and cereal, sugary diluted orange juice, hot milk and coffee. Due to the neighboring restaurant and good location of hotel, the room did get loud at night; we needed to put on a noice maker due to the constant noice of cars and yelling/screaming people. Apartamentul foarte curat, frumos aranjat si cu toate facilitatile necesare. Verry nice appartment, verry clean and cozy. We felt verry well here. "It was very central for the town of Funchal. The room had everything and the lady on reception was very very helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast could have been warmer and the restaurant kept odd hours and didn't feel like it was part of the hotel. As you are in the heart of the town you have to expect noise at night from residents living nearby"
