"Initially my wife and I had a room that the A/C was a bit old and the room was hot but the staff were fast to fix the problem and our stay was amazing after that. The breakfast buffet doesn't have tons of options but they have the essentials and it was quite tasty. We particularly enjoyed how close it was to the cultural visit which was one of the options for picking this spot, only a 10 min walk from the hotel. "This was our second stay at the Marion. It's like spending the night at the museum. You can read the history of the original owner if you spend a few minutes at the waterfront Chinese Heritage Museum. The hotel is very close to bars and restaurants on Carpenter St. that can be noisy on occasion. We have stayed in the Chapel wing both stays and we're not bothered by street noise.
