"Our room was large but basic but well priced. Pool was nice and brekky was good. The staff were good. The ad showed a sitting area in the lobby which we were planning on using but were told on arrival it was a private area - this aspect dissappointed us. I think a car is neccessary when staying here"

"Great place to stay in Villeneuve-les-Avignon! Old school French charm with a great location. The hotel staff was exceptional. Only downsides we're bed (very hard) and breakfast needed more options to merit the extra cost. We will return! "

"The hotel is inside the walled city, right next to the basilica. As no car is allowed to drive to the castle, the hotel offers a free shuttle to pick/drop you to the parking lot where you get in/off the taxi. The hotel has a lot of history but the condition itself needs some maintenance. The view from the hotel is unbeatable and the staff are super friendly. Overall is a very nice stay. Remember to book a taxi before arrival "

"This is a property with character. Staff was professional, helpful and courteous. Located within the city wals, this was an ideal location to walk around, explore with easy access to shops and restaurants. Very Nice room on the second Floor with separate toilet and shower rooms. Lighting in the main room could be enhanced. Very good breakfast buffet with enough choice to please anybody. Very courteous breakfast room attendant. "I enjoy this hotel a lot. Two things to help improve: 1 curtains need to be more black out as the lights from the street illuminate the entire room; 2. luggage that is left needs to be secure and not left in the lobby. I returned to see my expensive luggage sitting out in the hall where anyone could take it. The staff are always wonderful"
