"The medieval city of Carcossonne is amazing, like stepping back in time, and staying at the Hotel De La Cite just contributes to this feeling (although only build in 1880's). A grand, imposing building directly opposite the Basilicca puts it at the heart of the old city. Excellent service, lovely comfortable rooms and a garden that is great for relaxing in the afternoon sun."

"The spacious house has everything you may need whilst away. From the wooden terrace you have an amazing view of the countryside and the French Pyrenees. Les Lavandes is an excellent base for excursions within the local area. "We loved our stay here- it was in such a beautiful location which added to the atmosphere of our holiday. The flat is small but perfectly sizable for a couple. We had an issue with entering the property as the lock seized-up and we had to call to find a solution.
