"The hotel is in a lovely historic area near the Pearl river and has plenty of shady trees. Free use of washing machine and dryer. Not many staff speak even a little English so need to use Mandarin or a translator App. Beautifully clean rooms and linen and towels. BYO tea bags and buy milk at the lical store if you like a good cup of English Breakfast in the mornings."

"The hotel is almost perfect , big rooms , house keeping is amazing, breakfast is great , the only thing that's a little bit of a problem is communicating with the Front Desk staff , only one person can speak English. Still my preferred hotel in Guangzhou "

"Checking in was sooo bad . I arrived at Grand Hyatt at 4pm n expected an instant check in but lo n behold , there was no room avail yet. There was no explanation either. Worse they could not even confirm when the room would be ready n also refused to upgrade me to another room .. I was told to return later n without any time frame . It took me 1/2 hour of badging them to get a room at 4.45pm. Looks like Grand Hyatt overbooked their rooms n made regular room clients suffer for it.,"
