"Vast, clean property"

"I like the name and legacy. I didn’t like the furniture that needs upgrading within 2-3 years, I didn’t like room service that needed a new menu and chef, I didn’t like the relative lack of training of staff at concierge and overall. I didn’t like being told all restaurants open until 1 am when only two were open. I didn’t like the smell of the cigar room reception. I didn’t like the Lebanese restaurant Zaitouni; it should be replaced immediately. "

"The room is large and clean. It has a gym plus swimming pool. Nice staff from front desk to dining room. Breakfast is great if you love sweets. Note: this hotel doesn’t accept local currency."

"Main issue we had was smoking from adjacent room seeping in from connecting door as well as noisy neighbours. Food is v good however and pool and outside areas all pleasant. Transport onto Cairo sightseeing all easy and cabs etc can be called with ease and quickly. "
