"Best thing about this hotel is the aurora calling service, was able to view the aurora while our stay, love the view since it’s a lake at the back of the hotel and make it easier to take aurora photos there. Towels not so clean and housekeeping did not check the shower gel bottles as it was empty when we checked in. Staffs are helpful to give us extra bottle of shower gel to use, overall still recommend for this hotel."

"It was a very nice and comfortable place to stay in the country with an interesting history. Delicious breakfast and homemade ice cream. Lots of nooks to read and relax. It has a country feel which differed from the other Scandinavian minimalist decors of the other spots we stayed in Iceland."

"Adventure Hotel Hof was great! The hotel was lovely and set in a picturesque location. Check in was easy, and we were able to park right outside our room to make it easier to bring in our luggage (as there was no elevator). We chose to dine at the hotel and were not disappointed! The food was lovely and the service impeccable. In fact, all of the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast the following morning was also very well stocked so you won’t go hungry! "
