Awesome hosts. Clear sky’s to see northern lights both nights. Hot tub was very nice and located outside! Horse stable next door! Will be back there next trip!

This place is an amazing place to stay, with dining options right on site. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and lots of leisure spots within the hotel with couches/tables. This place was really great.

The facecloth was nice & thick. The bath towel was old & worn well. The bedding also needs a refresh. I did not shower there, as open shower soaks toilet & sink area. Food was excellent & service fantastic.

The property was located off Ring Road. My son and I got a large room that was very clean and had a porch, the only issue was the room was located by the main desk and breakfast area and in the morning it was loud with people eating breakfast and walking through at 7/8 am.

We took the south route from Reykjavik and stayed at Brunnhóll. Staff, food, accommodations were all great. Farm fresh ice cream also a big hit. Will stay there on next trip to Iceland.

Certainly! Here’s an expanded version of the review: I truly loved this family-owned property. They have invested significantly in making the place very family-friendly. There are reading and play areas for kids, which provide great entertainment options for the little ones. Additionally, the community kitchen is a fantastic feature, making the stay much more affordable since you can prepare and store your own meals. This not only saves money but also offers the convenience of home-cooked food. The rooms are incredibly spacious and can easily accommodate a family of five, ensuring everyone has plenty of room to relax and unwind. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities truly make this a wonderful place for families to stay. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the excellent facilities, ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests of all ages. I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling with family.

This was our 3rd place in Iceland and it was a tad disappointing. Breakfast was just ok. Not alot of selection. The floors in the rooms were odd. They were concrete-like with texture to them and not kind on the feet. The beds were a little uncomfortable. I didn't mind the accommodations but thought it was overpriced for what we got. This was our most expensive stay all trip but definitely not the nicest. The staff was nice. We ended up having to eat dinner there one night and the food was ok (sheep/lamb/veggies and my husband had fish), vegetable soup was very good and ice cream was good. But it was so expensive. $100 for both. We were prepared for expensive food but expected better quality. We would stay again if it wasn't so expensive.

This place is amazing! I’m from California so I don’t know if this is really a hidden gem but it’s definitely worth a stay if you find yourself looking for a place while road-tripping around Iceland. The staff is super friendly and we were able to utilize the kitchen and lounge area at our own convenience. They also offer laundry service which was something we were looking for but didn’t know if we’d be able to find. 10/10 would recommend
