"I really like this hotel. If you like old style architecture like me this is great. We stayed in the arran room where the view was amazing looking down on the ferry terminal. The room was spacious and comfortable."

"The staff were really friendly and helpful, we arrived early and were allowed to drop our suitcase at reception whilst we went into town. We were also allowed to do an early check in which was really great. The bed was super comfortable, I did have to ask for extra pillows and toilet roll but this was provided promptly. "Staff and public areas were excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of TLC which is a shame. The hire of a skip for a day to remove all the rubbish and fishing debris would help. The bedroom accommodation needs a lot of paintwork and updating. I've slept in more comfortable beds in Premier Inns! Housekeeping was a bit erratic. The quality of the food at breakfast was mediocre. However it's perfect for dogs and the staff were great."

"I spent two nights in the Oban Bay Hotel - it’s in a beautiful location overlooking the sea front which is ideal for watching all the ferries coming and going. The staff were all helpful and friendly with a good sense of humour. The breakfasts were excellent and the French toast, bacon and maple syrup with the addition of vanilla ice cream was certainly a first for me and surprisingly delicious!! I would happily return for another break in the future."
