"From the moment we entered hotel we loved the decor. Reception was lovely and welcoming Room was very modern and the large bed was so comfortable, room was bright and plenty space,great shower and tea coffee snack highly recommended "

"Lift out of order, again. However they moved us to a ground floor room with balcony, overlooking the Loch. Beautiful but, room very small, no wardrobes and no double glazing. A sleepless 3 night's. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. "

"The main building is a beautiful old country house. The food is lovely with a very relaxing atmosphere. The Clarsach being played near the roaring wood fire was really special. Having your own island to explore is a bonus!"

"Staff and public areas were excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of TLC which is a shame. The hire of a skip for a day to remove all the rubbish and fishing debris would help. The bedroom accommodation needs a lot of paintwork and updating. I've slept in more comfortable beds in Premier Inns! Housekeeping was a bit erratic. The quality of the food at breakfast was mediocre. However it's perfect for dogs and the staff were great."

"I spent two nights in the Oban Bay Hotel - it’s in a beautiful location overlooking the sea front which is ideal for watching all the ferries coming and going. The staff were all helpful and friendly with a good sense of humour. The breakfasts were excellent and the French toast, bacon and maple syrup with the addition of vanilla ice cream was certainly a first for me and surprisingly delicious!! I would happily return for another break in the future."
