"Hotel was okay apart from the latch on the bedroom door being faulty. A little distressed about it as it was the day I checked in. I locked the door ready to settle down for the evening, but remembered that I had left something in my car. As I tried to exit the room the latch was stuck and had to phone reception who sent someone to break me out. The saving grace is that I needed to leave the room and that it did not happen during a fire! They did move me to another room unfortuantely it felt...

"Lovely old building and gardens"

"Staff on my arrival was good, young man training on reception. A bit poor on my departure young lady didn't ask if my stay was ok or not. Spacious room good size bathroom. Shower wash hit & miss as sometimes the water stopped and started. Good amount of sockets only problem none near the bed. "

"The TV in my room didn’t work, but the room was comfortable and clean. "

"The hotel is close to Derby Train Station and it’s an easy walk into Derby City Centre as well. Only downside was the lift was out off order and it was my wife staying and she has health problems which made it a bit hard fir her to get to her room but apart from that she said she will use the Hitel again. "

" A fabulous build converted in to a great hotel located in the historic Catherdral quarter. We had a junior double at the back for one night. Super quiet comfy bed and fab shower and bath. Definitely recommend. Located near some great old historic pubs,art galleries the amazing Museum of Making and the Cathedral."
