"We received a warm welcome from the staff at this very popular Inn in the village of Hardraw. Our room was compact, clean and cosy, with an ensuite shower, basin and toilet, very nicely decorated and furnished and with a view over the adjacent churchyard. Due to the popularity of the Inn together with the fact that it shares a carpark with the adjacent Hardraw Force Waterfall & Tearoom, parking can be tight, but we were lucky and managed to find a space throughout our two night stay. One day we were stopped as a dog got all the sheep into one little area. It is not far away from where we wanted to be and we went to Beatrix Potter Hilltop house and the attraction.
