"These apartments are decorated so nicely with antiques and attention to details that it feels like home. The rooms are much larger than others we have stayed in. "Beautiful and unique space- so, be prepared to climb and then be rewarded for your efforts. We loved exploring Chania, we loved the property and wish we had an extra day just to spend lounging in the room and on the roof garden. We don't usually eat breakfast but would not miss this breakfast for anything, hot coffee, fresh juice, quiet old cafe feel. We truly appreciated the peaceful ,yet busy, mornings, smiling faces, and great service."

TheJoy Hotel
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (23)
"This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"

"Lovely hotel, clean, friendly staff, just outside is the bus 21 station that goes to Chania town centre bus station- from which you could take different buses to Botanical Garden, south villages, different towns. The beach is less than 10 min walk down the street; is nice and not too crowded, where I went twice in my 8 night stay as in the rest I went in excursions. The breakfast is ok but nothing special, personally I didn’t like it very much. I think in the future I can go to a cafeteria and...

"Excellent stay here. Breakfast was in included and really good. There was a restaurant at night and we really enjoyed the food. Rooms were comfortable but on the smaller side. Staff was amazing and very accommodating, beds were hard and they is down thing I think the owners should improve. Very walkable neighborhood. Beaches were 5 minutes away. Parking was easy to find. I would stay here again. "
