"We had 14-day stays and it’s a great hotel. Greta location, hotel just in front of MRT entrance. Very convenient to go anywhere in Taipei. Staff are friendly, always being proactive to provide assistance. Hotel provides bottled water every day in the room. The first day we got the bottled water, we put it in the fridge. Next day we saw the bottled water are in the fridge. It’s a small thing but I think this is sweet that hotel staff noticed our preference. When there were rainy days, hotel provided umbrellas for people to use. This is awesome too. Rooms are soundproof and we barely heard any other room having any sounds. "

"This hotel truly lives up to its name of being Grand! It's huge and is quite exclusive but close enough to the main part of the city. It offered a free shuttle thought the day to get to Yuanshan MRT station or you can climb down from the side of the hill the hotel is located on and reach the Jiantan MRT station. This historic hotel makes you feel like you are living like a Chinese noble and yet you also feel like you're living in a museum because of its legacy with Chiang's family. Highly recommend! "

It is clean, beautifully decorated (faux baroque paintings adorn the wall in the interiour courtyard visible from within the elevator), and conveniently located with views of the Daan Forest Park. The beds are firm and comfortable. The front desk service is excellent. "

"Perfect location, just across Ximending night market. 3 min walk to the train station. Less than an hour away from the airport. Breakfast buffet selection is good considering its price. Would definitely stay here when I go back next year. "
