"We have been wanting to stay at this property for a long time even before we moved to the Hill Country. The house is even nicer than the pictures. The view is amazing. You immediately feel at home. They have thought of everything you need and the beds and couch are comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. The wifi was intermittent and slow when it was present and though this is a "river retreat" there really isn't a river, looks like it's been dry for several years."

"We wanted a cabin off the “beaten path” and that is exactly what you should expect. It had everything we needed. It was clean, welcoming and expect the deer to come right up to the front porch. We had a great time hiking at Garner State Park and coming back to the cabin to relax, fix dinner and watch a movie before calling it a night. "

"If we pass through the area in the future I will definitely look into staying here again first! The cabin itself was very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need as well as games, DVDs, and little activity books for the kids. Beds and couches were comfortable, the location was peaceful while still being close to so many of the attractions in the area. This is a great place to stay."

"This property is really nice. Our hostess answered any questions we had and she was so nice. The property is very quiet and it has so much space. Overall it was extremely comfortable. It’s only a few miles from Seven Bluffs. My grandchildren loved it and want to return. We will be back soon!"

"Not going to lie I was scared I was scammed in the beginning due to the lack of reviews- but thankfully I was very very wrong. It looks like just new owners are in charge now and it was a great stay. We had a group of 12 (6 couples) and there was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the pool, volleyball, and swings -lots of cooking opportunities and space there and over all was very relaxing. It is very close next to two other homes so not as pricey in the back but it was still a great time...
