There are four pugs who you'll likely see a few times during your stay, so be aware of your pets if you bring them. The main house where the property owner lives is just far enough away to provide privacy. Everything was clean and well kept."

"We were looking for a clean, comfortable, safe and quite rental near the town of Custer, SD and this property fit perfectly. It was located very close to Custer but situated so that it felt more like a stay in the mountains. There were 5 adults in our party and the home fit our group comfortably. "This is a brand new cabin in Custer, very clean, nicely decorated and more amenities than we expected: mini fridge with freezer, glass stove top, kitchen sink, dishes/silverware, coffee, and some more that we were pleased to find. The listing was a little confusing as to the bed set up, so I'll clarify. There is a bunk bed with a twin top and queen bottom, a loft that's a twin, and a futon that's a twin. All bedding is included. The steps to get to the loft are not stairs, but actually shelves that are also steps. If you have balance issues, don't opt for the loft! My kids thought it was a lot of fun, though. It was chilly outside when we visited, but the space heater was great and it was always perfect inside the cabin. It was very easy to get to all the activities in the Black Hills, and the host was easy to communicate with. Great trip!"
