"We really enjoyed the unit and our time in Rapid City. A couple of suggestions: (i) A toaster would be nice. A rental option such as the Sojourn appears to comtemplate affording users the option to eat breakfast “in” and a toaster would enhance the experience. (ii) Appreciated the AC in the living room / kitchen but man is it loud! Despite approaching 100 degrees F outside, sleeping was comfortable. (Iiii) Sofa ia a quite saggy. "We appreciated that we could walk across the back yard and access the Mickleson Trail. In the evening we sat in the backyard and watched turkeys and deer feed on the corn provided. The cabin was simple, quaint, clean just like the description. If you like extravagant accommodations, probably not for you- but we definitely enjoyed it!!"

The location walking distance from a number of restaurants which we enjoyed, but it was a bit noisy with traffic and trains throughout the night - most of it was blocked easily with earplugs though! "This was a great place to stay. The cabin was wonderful, the quiet was excellent, and it was easy to access. I would have given 5 stars, but some basic amenities like hand soap and shower soap should be provided or it could be clearer that these basics will not be there. An extra blanket for anyone staying during the colder months would also be appreciated. Other than that, I loved it!"

"We stayed at Frenchy’s Hideaways in the Black Hills. It is a perfect location for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer Stare Park, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse, and the Needles Hwy. Such a beautiful area! The cabin was perfect for my husband, dog and myself. With a full kitchen, we weren’t forced to eat out every day and had more time to explore the area. The location was perfect as a central spot for us be able to visit the areas we were hoping to see. "
