"We loved our stay here. Very clean and spacious for a couple with an awesome view and the breeze was the icing on the cake. Our host allowed us to use their beach chairs which were brand new so we didn’t have to pay for rentals at the beaches. We also had access to a small carry cooler which came is great for snacks and water. We gave five stars to all and would definitely stay here again. "

"Loved the location of the house. There were several things that need fixed but I believe the owner knows that. I understand it is on an island and you can't just go to Home Depot. The construction next door does make things a little messy but not the owners fault. Overall very happy and would book again"

"Overall the house was very lovely and close to Cruz Bay! We loved the beds and the view of the home. When we tried to find the house via Google maps, it was not the right spot. You need to ask your taxi driver to take you to Samuel Cottages. The check-in process was a bit difficult, but we had a helpful tax driver who didn’t leave until we got into the property. Thank you!"

"My husband planned this trip for our 11th anniversary. It was truly amazing! Exactly as described on the website. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the house by Sean. He gave us a quick yet thorough run down of the property and the island. It was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated as this was our first time visiting St. John. "We had a wonderful romantic getaway at meritage . Linda is top notch ! We had an unforgettable experience. One minor thing that would improve the experience would be to cut / trim the small trees that are partially blocking the gorgeous views . "Marcus and Patty a were incredible hosts!! The villa had everything we needed…..especially a generator! Thank you Marcus for keeping power pn when the island was out…..for nearly two days!! The trip would have been VERY different without power….no A/C, no water water, no cooking….UGH!! Marcus and Patty were incredible and very attentive. STJ….a little slice of heaven!! We will definitely be back!"
