"Perfect location, just off the M6 for travelling further north. We only stayed 1 night but the service was excellent and a lovely area to walk the canal which was close by. The bar was lovely, meals excellent along with the staff. And perfect if you have a dog with you. Just can’t fault it"

"Staff were very helpful. Receptionist let us swap rooms when allocated room was right next to lift & I was worried I wouldn’t sleep because of noise. One of the housekeeping staff ran my partner to the wedding venue we had been at the day before when he was unable to get a taxi "

"Nice hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The building has character. Room is clean. Walls are thin and I’ve been able to hear the man next door snoring, and now their dogs barking and whining. Apart from that all has been okay. Parking was easy to find using the postcode provided for it by the hotel. "

"A beautiful hotel with charm and original fittings. Staff were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was on the small side for a double, however this was not a problem as we just slept in there and spent all day out and about enjoying the sites and shopping. On our last night we took advantage of a meal in the resturant in the hotel. Wow just wow, the meal was out of this world!!! Definitely hats off to the chef, that has got to be the best steak i have ever tasted. We would certainly stay and eat here again on the very near future! "
