"Entire break was excellent. Let down by queuing for breakfast at Steak on Six as they looked under staffed. Made all meal bookings at reception when checking in but first nights meal at Pad was not in their system. They were full so squeezed us into a table but not what you would expect. Apart from these minor issues the overall stay was excellent and staff are tremendous "

"Fifth time staying at the Coldra Court and finally recognised as a Gold member with a room upgrade. McKenzie on reception was superb - upgraded me, welcome gift and ensured a robe was in my room. Hotel is immaculately clean and room has very tasteful interior design with muted tones. Elemis toiletries are wonderful. Leisure facilities great, if a little old. Pool nice and clean. Adult only times should be extended. Breakfast was ok but fried food very greasy. Location not ideal on a business park, but Beefeater and McDonlads opposite. Parking charge is now £10 per night. "

"Love this hotel its really nice.chef had to come and kick the bathroom door in as the lock jammed and my partner was stuck in there a hour but thats no reflection on the hotel.the one thing that disturbed me was i booked a double room it was a twin when i got in they swiftly changed it to a double i knew this as id extended my stay and theyd kindly not turfed me out at 11 to come back in at 3 but on the last night the double mattress had been changed to 2 single mattresses which is not right and very uncomfortable id spoke to the man cleaner and told him not to go in i didnt need my bedroom cleaned but it bothers me that they obviously did go in change the mattresses around and tried to put the bedding back as it was ,id left it scrufferly unmade that made me feel like theyd waited for us to go out instead of telling us and sneaked in probably looking out for us coming back and then we saw the man cleaner again when we came back and a very strange thing was said (im glad i didnt have to go into your room it saved me time )there was no need for this comment so that told me everything. But nothing to do with anything else i love the hotel"

"We regularly eat at The Bear, as we love the food, but this was our first time to stay. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. As always, the service in the restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. Our waiter, Hi-Man was most attentive. "

"The room, premises, staff, and facilities were amazing. Absolutely top notch! The restaurant food was really nice. The only slight negative was that the room was a little too warm with the temperature sensor set to the lowest setting. The spa was brilliant, we used the gym, sauna steamer and pool and all were clean and well looked after. It’s a hell yeah from us!!"
