"Overall it was great - the staff was excellent, especially Vicki (at the pool), Facundo (bar and pool), Jorge (waiter at breakfast). However, they should plan better for high season - there was a literal fight over beach chairs because they did not supply enough for all the guests. You had to go down between 6-7am to reserve a beach/pool chair (which should not be allowed). If the guest is not using the chair, it should be available for others to use. The food at Cuzamil restaurant was not...

"Hotel was clean and quiet. It was priced well. The pool seemed heated which was nice. There was good snorkleing right off the beach of this hotel so no need to take a snorkeling tour unless you just want to see something different. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tiki bar had drink specials every day from 5 to 7pm.(2 for1) each day.It was a different drink special daily. The breakfast was decent with several options, however lunch and dinner were over priced and did not meet expectations...

"The Villa Blanca Gardens is my go to for a short getaway, having stayed there 6 times in the last 4-5 years. It has a beautiful landscape, is across the street from the beach and two dive/excurson piers. Very diver friendly, with dive trips leaving from piers across the street. It has a pool, but no Waterpark, so not as noisy as many of the all inclusive resorts. The current on-site restaurant/bar (Stingrays) is pretty good and not overly expensive on paper, but they give you a poor exchange...

"This is a beautiful hotel on a nice stretch of beach about 3 km from downtown Cozumel. Just don't be fooled by the cheap booking price. Once you get in the hotel, they make it very difficult to partake in any of the hotel's amenities unless you buy into the all-inclusive package. The all-inclusive package is $65/day per person for food and drinks. If you don't buy the package, it's $25 per meal and $7 per drink, but you have to prepay each time at the front desk.
