"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

The only problem was that we booked the hotel because it had a spa but the hotel did not inform us beforehand that it was closed during the two days that we were there. That was very disappointing. "The hostal is clearly set up for the massive influx of people who come for the annual religious festival. Outside of that time very quiet and rather spooky. Endless empty corridors leading to spartan and dated but functional rooms. There is no service as such. Collect the key from a booth a cross the road. On site reception is not necessarily connected to the person who has rented you your room. It's very cheap so the value stacks up. Don't expect anywhere to be much better in El Rocio. The town...
