"The photos do not do the property justice. It is very spacious with some great outside spaces. The air con in the bedrooms was very good. Marcelo was very friendly and his wife produced a n amazing cake for us when we arrived. It was very tasty! Marcelo had lots of local tips - for supermarkets, restaurants and places to visit. There are some lovely cafes and restaurants within a few mins drive."

"Wow a hidden gem of a hotel set in beautiful country side just north of Oporto into Spain Surrounded by amazing countryside not far from the beach the stunning property is quiet and tranquil, with fantastic attentive staff. "Nice apartment in beautiful surroundings. I was there for a week and there was no wifi in the apartment and even 3g was not very reliable, but I did a lot of work using the wifi in the main hotel building, so all good in the end."

"From first booking, Marc's communication was excellent. The castles location is oustanding being some considerable distance from any major road making it an excellent place for peace and tranquillity. The only sound was cowbells and local wildlife . There is a very good rustic hostel a very short drive or walk away although all the amenities to cater for yourself.
