"The hotel has a nice lobby and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Outside there were two good size pools and a short walk away are two small but nice beaches. I found the music around the pool a bit too loud and even though there were lots of sun loungers they were quickly taken up. The apartments were well equipped and clean and the food options on the half board were good however you do have to pay for your drinks. Overall a pleasant hotel"

Conveniently, there was free street parking nearby, along with an unmarked parking area just behind the hotel, which was also free. The hotel is in a prime location: PortAventura and Ferrari Land adventure parks are just a 10-minute walk away, and Salou Beach is also within walking distance. "There was a problem at check in - I had to send and resend the confirmation from Expedia. The room was run down and dimly lit, and the bathroom door didn't close. We were tired from a long trip, and thought we might eat at the hotel restaurant. We went to check it out and were met by a very rude waitress who told us to "Get out!". We said we knew they were not open yet (we were half an hour early) but wanted to have a look and possibly see a menu. "You can't see a menu. Get out!", she snarled....
