"Prime location, comfortable bed, nice staff, huge TV. However, I seriously considered sleeping in the car after seeing that parking lot. It didn't seem safe to leave my car there, with all the scatchy characters wandering around. There might have been a homeless and junkie convention in town, or it just gotten so much worse since the last time I was in San Diego. At the end, good value for the money. Highly recommended if you don't plan to park there."

"Staying at Townplace suites was a great experience . The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt as if everything was either walkable or within a couple minutes with Uber or Lyft . On weekdays bar is not open that was the only downside . Other than that the room was very comfortable and nice . "

"The rooms were very nice and clean. I liked how cool it looked inside like homie. The only thing is the view of the homeless outside but besides that it was nice. They had lots of tv channel options. Will stay here every time i come visit from now on. "
