"I typically stick with name brand hotels but the reviews were good and the location was perfect so I decided to take a chance on a two night stay. I was not disappointed as the staff was friendly and helpful and the accommodations comfortable. It has a bit of a B&B feel as I made some new friends during breakfast. If you are planning a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame I’d highly recommend the Railroad Inn"

"Note: We stayed during Cooperstown's off, off season. Review: We were there for a conference at The Otsaga Hotel. We wanted something a little more cost effective. This lovely little hotel is rustic, but clean. We had hot water, heat, and THE ENTIRE PLACE to ourselves. Talk about peaceful! The proprietor was helpful, answered her phone, and this place is only a 14 minute drive to Cooperstown. "

The proximity to Cooperstown worked very well for us, as did the ability to fish right across the street from the property - my son and I spent a good deal of time casting from the docks. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
