Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities
The staff that greeted me was very friendly at check-in. While my room seemed quite clean I was alarmed when I tried to draw a bath, and the water came out dark brown. When I flushed the toilet, it made a large clunking noise. I called the front desk and was informed that the water had been off in recent days and no one had stayed in my room so I needed to let the water run for a minute or so. While I was expecting more concerned for my comfort from staff, I decided to try running the water. It eventually came clear, but had a strong smell of sulfur. I was exhausted from a day at the hospital with my husband and decided not to push the issue any further as it was midnight. I attempted to watch TV instead and had much difficulty using it before giving up. In the morning the water still smelled like sulfur and the sink water was brown and the toilet water was very cloudy. I planned to discuss this with staff at checkout when they asked me about nice my stay. While the staff at checkout was polite he left the customer service skills that go above and beyond. At this point, I was very frustrated because I was not asked about my stay and my evening was far from relaxing. I realized I did not have the patience to discuss the matter politely and promptly left. I would like to say that the room was very spacious and style was pretty current.
