"You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!"

"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. "Overall stay was decent. Check in process was a little confusing, as you had to drive to one location to check in, and then another to get access to the resort, then another to the actual house. The house itself was a little dated, stairs going down were rotted & loose, so definitely a safety issue and the overall cleanliness just felt off. "We had such a great time at Silvertree Cabin! Wayne was very helpful and responsive before booking and remained the same after booking. The cabin was clean and comfortable with beautiful views! We were so happy that this cabin allowed bigger dogs and we were able to bring our boy with us. He had a great time running around the yard and up and down the stairs. We hope to stay again very soon! "
