"Just me and my 2 dogs. Though it was considered “not normal” winter weather while I was there I was fine to be missing the central NY state weather back home. And for me it was just what the dr ordered. I enjoyed the quietness and serenity of the surroundings…. the lake. One of the best parts about it for me (besides the hot tub!) was that it’s totally dog friendly, inside and out. "My wife and I decided to take our young children to the mountains for an impromptu vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the home and the beautiful lake upon arrival. This home is extremely well stocked and was very clean. It is in a great location to all of the conveniences you may need but also feels somewhat secluded for that peace of mind. As for the host…Karen is one of the nicest and helpful hosts you could possibly ask for. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking."

"We had a wonderful extended weekend at this peaceful retreat for our son’s wedding nearby. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the serene view of horses grazing in the pasture and watching the scenery change throughout the day was such a treat. It was the perfect escape and would love the opportunity to return. "The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay...
