"Cool modern hotel"

"Last minute decision to stay here, decent price, large seating in bar/ reception area. Check out is 11 which I liked without having to rush up and out. Easy check in and out. Room was a decent size and bed was comfortable, my only gripe was remote for tv didn't work properly."

"Hotel was clean and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor pool and sauna/steam room facilities. Check in and out was straightforward. Grounds were lovely. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but it is well situated and easy walking distance to the centre. Breakfast was disappointing as took over half an hour to come, was not very big (mushroom was only half a slice!) and toast had gone cold as was served when we sat down so had to ask some more. Staff were attentive and professional....

"Great stay at the Bristol Hotel. Made to feel welcome by the receptionist Marian who was also very helpful. The room was cozy with a lovely view of the river. Comfy double bed but we did find it a little small. The room was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel is in a great location for restaurant's and exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again. "

"My only disappointment was that I had requested an upgrade before my stay. I had an email confirming that was possible but on check in was told that it wasn't then possible. I had an early 7am appointment the next morning and requested the upgrade to facilitate the fridge for my yogurt so I could eat before leaving tbe hotel ( breakfast didn't open until 7am at the hotel). Therefore I had to leave my yogurt in the bathroom sink full of cold water. It was far from ideal when I had paid over...

"A very enjoyable and relaxing couple of days in this gorgeous spa hotel. Room was huge, bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, spa had everything I needed, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Meeting Lady Hattie was the icing on the cake! "

"Lovely hotel in prime location, spotlessly clean room was very comfortable. Slight issue with electrics to bedside chargers sadly couldn’t be resolved but a minor irritation. Hotel very busy during our visit, all staff remained professional under pressure. Great"
