A minor criticism was the hotels recirculating air system. I always could hear a fan running, despite air conditioning being turned off. Nevertheless, it is a great place to stay in Melbourne."

"The property was perfectly situated for us :access to public transport , variety of food venues and views of the city. The bathroom was perhaps the weakest link - it was it was cleverly designed although minimal. Conversely the the room size was excellent. The kitchen area was well equipped. Instructions to guests were clear and helpful. Staff were helpful - and 24 hour reception."

"We were happy to spend a single night at Liberty One. The room was immaculate and staff were fantastic, offering an upgrade due to mistakes on the Wotif listing. We’d have loved some more clear signage, and if the front reception was a bit cleaner. Staff seemed to have been smoking indoors and the smell carried through the building but luckily not into the room."
