"Very comfortable, and a big shout out to Bruno at the front desk for excellent service. One slight caveat - the soundproofing on the canal view rooms (mine at least) wasn't great, and it let in a lot of road noise. However, it was easy to change rooms. If you're travelling with a dog, don't assume that pubs in Dublin will let you in. Most will turn you away. While the hotel is great with pets, the city is terrible. You need to research where you're going to eat, or - like me - you'll be having...

"Lovely historical building, which does mean no elevator, but staff did offer to help with our bags. The staff were excellent, both the front desk and breakfast servers. We stayed in a twin bed room, which was comfortable and a good size. We had the egg and pancake option for breakfast, which is cooked when you arrive and gives you access to the continental options too. Tasty and decent value. We felt safe walking in the area, even after dark. Would stay here again."
