"This hotel was a tram ride from JR Kumamoto station and located inside the Sakuramachi shopping mall. Fairly new, but very clean and generous with provision of amenities. Room was small though but has a nice view of the castle."

"Hotel was opposite Kumamoto castle, easy walk. Access to hotel was easy by tram from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean and had everything needed. I had view of Kumamoto Castle from my room which is awesome however you can go to the rooftop for amazing views of the castle also. I had the whole rooftop to myself to enjoy the beautiful night view of the area. Everything was walkable - food, castle, transport. Highly recommend."
